Savage Blade Hammers the Grenade Games

Thursday, May 6th, 2010

In a weekend full of high voltage and assorted debauchery, the Blade finally made our live debut! The show in Nelson was completely off the hook – a great night introducing the Blade to our hometown friends. Saturday, April 24th in Whistler… live at the GLC (wicked venue), and we layed down the law for the Grenade Games VI – VIP party. The crowd was stellar – we plastered them with a huge pile of true metal, and they loved it! Special thanks to all the gang at Monster Energy Canada for bringing us to the party. Here’s a taste of what went down…

The Blade Goes Live!

Wednesday, April 14th, 2010

We’re excited to announce the live debut of Savage Blade!  With the addition of members Mike Hodsall (guitar) and Chris Killeen (drums), the lineup is in place and the band is ready to strike! With the help of Ben Blomander and PB Pro Audio, we’ve been working our asses of putting together the live show and it’s time to hit the stage. We’ll be performing on April 23rd at the SpiritBar in our hometown of Nelson, BC with guests Hap Mandala. And then Saturday, April 24th, we’ll be headlining the Grenade Games 6 -part of the Telus World Ski and Snowboard Festival in Whistler, BC, live at the GLC. God damn that sounds like fun! The show is being presented by Monster Energy and CFOX. We’ll be joined by our good buddy Vinyl Ritchie, who’ll be throwing down some serious tracks… a night to remember.

Keep it HEAVY! The Blade
